Digitalisation and automation are rapidly changing the world, impacting all areas of our lives and business. But what does it mean for the procurement professionals? What does the procurement team or supply chain of the future look like? Those are only a few of the concerns we will be discussing during the conference ‘Future of Procurement. How to become a real business partner rather than an administrator replaceable by a robot?’

The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) invites you to participate in the event, where participants will hear about most recent business news and market trends. New technologies and digital solutions are impacting almost every part of the modern supply chain and CIPS members, together with senior representatives from top leading companies will host the discussion on digitalisation and automation. How to automate your supply chain in a smart way? What are the possible solutions? Does one size fits all businesses?

The conference will also focus on the challenge of personal development in the world of digital procurement, the elimination of waste and creation of lean and efficient process. To implement such solutions companies have to make sure that their procurement specialists are properly trained and aware of their new responsibilities in this dynamic environment. New situation in a procurement world calls for new set of skills – although machines and bots will perform the bulk of the any tactical, functional work, professionals are supporting to meet and exceed the expectations of their business partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for procurement and business partners to meet and discuss how to stay ahead of the curve.

The special guest at the conference will be Will Beattie – Head of International Business Development at CIPS, who will also act as the chair of the conference.
