Procurement Executive Development Programme

We invite you to take part in the 10th edition of the Procurement Executive Development Programme, supporting studies to achieve the MCIPS title in the shortened managerial path designed for the management of the procurement area.

Procurement Executive Development Programme is designed for experienced procurement professionals who are considering joining Management Entry Route (MER) in the near future to achieve MCIPS. PEDP supports senior procurement managers who strive to enhance and structure their knowledge to prepare for MER steps, which are:

  • Procurement Capabilities Assessment – through intensive trainings with CIPS tutors
  • 1 – 1 competency based interview - through coaching sessions with a tutor conducting such interviews

Over 70 people from the management of the area of Procurement, Administration and Finance took part in previous editions.

PEDP 2023

The Programme will take place in autumn 2023:

 - 1st Training Session – 26 - 27.09.2023
 - 2nd Training Session – 24 - 25.10.2023

Participants of the Programme have the opportunity to refresh and deepen their procurement knowledge and exchange experiences and views on the Procurement function's role in their companies and competitive environment.

Terms of participation in the Programme:

Candidates for Procurement Executive Development Programme should meet the following conditions, analogous to the requirements to join the Management Entry Route:

  • Managerial position
  • Implementation of the following range of tasks:
    • Budget management,
    • Leading a team,
    • Taking independent decisions,
    • Conducting personnel policy in your area
  • At least five years’ experience at a senior level
  • Good knowledge of English
